Yonge and Eglinton Chiropractor and Motivation

Hey Guys,

Back from what seems like a really long absence from posting. No real reason or excuse. I didn’t go on vacation to a tropical paradise. Sure I was busy with work and family and friends. But who isn’t? Life is always busy like that. Just got lazy I guess.

So my post today is an attempt to get me (and hopefully all you reading) motivated, determined, and ready to finish 2011 strong. Welcome to motivation 101.

So I already admitted above that I had no real reason or excuse for not posting. But let’s shift over to all those excuses that are out there.

  • No energy
  • Not enough time
  • Have more important things to do
  • I’ll do it tomorrow
  • I had a hard week, I deserve some down time

Any of these sound familiar. No doubt we’ve all used some form of reasoning, debating, or interpretation as a way to justify or validate why we have, or in most cases, have not done something.

Truly, there will always be something that comes up. There will always be a reason for you not to do/complete something you should/want to do. DO IT ANYWAY.

There’s not enough hours in the day right? You have the same amount of hours in the day as everyone else does. Everyone has 24 hours a day to use.

Yes we have responsibilities. Work. School. Family. Friends. No, I’m not telling you to ignore these responsibilities. What I am telling you though, is that it all boils down to how much you want something.

Sounds cliche huh?

But whether we are talking about school, work, getting healthy, etc. The idea remains the same. Don’t wait till the new year. Don’t wait till the next month. Don’t even wait till tomorrow.

Do it today. Do it now. Write some goals down. Be specific. Stop making excuses.
